THE J5

The J5’s template was designed for super fun year around waves (head high or under). It allows a surfer to get in early while providing the speed needed to perform full rail turns. The JV may look like a fish, but it rides like a high performance shortboard. A full outline combined with a single to deep double concave and a slight channel between the fins provides speed and drive. This board comes as a 5 fin setup, giving you the choice to ride it as a thruster or a quad. Ride it 3 to 8 inches shorter, 0.75 to 1 inches wider, and 1/16 to 3/8 inch thicker than your standard shortboard.
